Before you hire anybody
Four questions worth asking
- 1Ask for a Certificate of Insurance (COI) — a real company sends it same day.
- 2Ask who's actually on your roof, and whether they're covered by workers' comp.
- 3Ask if they use clips or staples. Staples put holes in your fascia forever.
- 4Ask what happens in January. Takedown and storage should already be in the price.
